Tom Hartley

When we celebrated our 40th Anniversary with the whole school photograph last week, the Guest of Honour was Mr Tom Hartley.

Tom was the Caretaker of the school when it opened in 1975 and as such was the person who opened All Hallows for the very first time in September of that year.

Tom is a great friend of the school, his children and grandchildren attended and he is a regular visitor to All Hallows. His family also donate a trophy every year for Certificate Evening and we were delighted that Tom could join us on what was a special event in the school’s history. Tom was really pleased to be present on the day and his granddaughter and he were among the 1,000 people who had their photograph taken to commemorate our special anniversary.
