U14 Netball Team Progress in National Competition

Our U14 netball team were back in action in the first round of the Sisters n Sport National Competition, facing St Gabriel’s in what proved to be a thrilling and closely fought encounter.

The match was tense from the first whistle, with both teams competing fiercely and the lead changing hands several times throughout the game. It was a fast-paced, physical contest, with play moving from end to end and neither side willing to give an inch.

The girls demonstrated excellent teamwork, composure and perseverance under pressure, supporting one another brilliantly throughout. Despite the intensity of the match, they remained focused and continued to battle right until the final seconds. Their hard work was rewarded when they scored with just five seconds remaining to secure a dramatic 22-21 victory.

CPOM: Whole Team – every player gave 100%, worked tirelessly for one another and never gave up. Congratulations to the girls on a fantastic performance and a well-deserved win. We wish them the very best of luck in the next round!
